Authentic Language and Phonology in the Classroom

This workshop is intended to provoke thinking about and assessment of each individual’s approach to English language teaching within the framework of their teaching curriculum, i.e., ‘foreign’ language or bilingual. At the elementary and lower secondary levels, it is crucial to develop competency in teachers and their students in the sound system of English and how to develop and stabilize strategies for fluent, comprehensible speech and reading in students.
